Revisions Made to Stage 2 Disinfection Byproducts RuleIn a June 29, 2009 final rule (74 FR 30953–30959), EPA revised the Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule to require public water systems serving 500–9,999 people to monitor both total trihalomethanes (TTHM) and haloacetic acids (HAA5) at two locations.
