IRS proposed regulations: Health Savings Accounts (HSAs): Employer comparable contributions.
The IRS has issued proposed regulations on employer comparable contributions to Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) which, among other provisions, permit larger employer contributions to the HSAs of nonhighly compensated employees than their contributions for highly compensated employees' HSAs.
The proposed regulations were published in the Federal Register on July 16, 2008 (73 FR 40793).
